Yoga Bananas focuses on how to teach yoga to children of a primary school age. Its approach is fun whilst incorporating all the elements of Hatha Yoga. This course is open to yoga teachers and yoga students with a solid yoga practice including Mums who may like to introduce yoga to their own children and school teachers who may like to introduce yoga into the school day. Yoga Bananas™ Certificated Training Course, this certificated training course will prove invaluable to yoga teachers, and yoga teacher trainees or those with a sound knowledge of yoga asanas. The course is taught in small groups and often one on one in Vicky‘s private garden studio. Yoga Bananas is a company that is dedicated to offering all students the freedom to inspire children with the Yoga Bananas ideas and ethos without any binding contract.Vicky believes that a teacher really comes into their own and can benefit the children greater if they are empowered and given the permission to create without the restrictions imposed by a franchise agreement. The course offers an alternative way of building a child‘s confidence akin to performing and creative arts, but by the very nature of yoga and its roots within the sacred Indian tradition, it also offers a child the opportunity to explore their intuitive nature and spirituality. The training course is run over three days.
